Day CareDay Care Inspections

In the state of Utah there can two types of day care facilities: In-home Day Care Centers, which can accept up to 8 or 16 kids or larger Commerical Day Care Centers.
Under the state sanitation regulations, both of these facilities must be inspected at least once a year. These sanitation inspections are announced to the facility and are carried out by authorized Environmental Health Specialists (EHS) employed by the Central Utah PublicHealth Department. Elements evaluated include, but are not limited to:
