Baby Watch / Early Intervention

Central Utah Public Health Department Early Intervention Program is affiliated with Utah's Baby Watch which is Utah's network of services for children ages birth to three with developmental delays or disabilities. Some of the services offered include:
  • A full assessment of a child's current health and development status.
  • Service coordination among providers, programs, and agencies.
  • Strategies to build on family concerns, priorities, and resources.
  • Developmental services: occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech/Language Therapy, Nursing services, and others.
  • Learning, problem solving and play skills.
These services are provided through the coordinated effort of parents, community agencies, and a variety of professionals.

Qualifications for E.I. Services

Children birth to three years of age who meet or exceed the definition of developmental delays in one or more of the following areas:
  • Physical development
  • Vision and hearing
  • Feeding and dressing skills
  • Social and emotional development
  • Communication and language

Play Group for 2-Year Olds who qualify for EI services

    Monday:

    Tuesday:
    So. Sanpete School 10:00-11:00
    District Building Manti

    Wednesday:
    CUPHD Richfield 9:30-10:30 & 11:00-12:00

    Thursday:
    Juab County Mona City Building 10:00-11:00
